2006/2007 Summer Vacation Scholarships (Undergraduate)

Applications are invited for Summer Scholarships for a period of six weeks. The purpose of the Scholarship is to offer experience in a research environment where students will be given the opportunity to take part in a research project in one of the following Chemistry & Physics research groups:

* Biological Chemistry and Molecular Recognition
* New Materials
* Synthesis
* Laser & Ion Chemistry
* Analytical & Green Chemistry
* Atmospheric Physics
* High Energy Astrophysics
* Laser & Nonlinear Optics
* Photonics
* Theoretical Physics
* Medical Physics
* Geophysics

Postgraduate Writing-Up Awards

The postgraduate writing-up award is designed to support doctoral candidates in the School of Chemistry and Physics in the period immediately after thesis submission to allow them to prepare for publication journal articles or books which are based on the thesis submitted for a Ph.D. More information is available here
